The stores will be open on Palm SundayApril 17, 2022, as part of the festive schedule in anticipation of Easter.
The shops, according to the schedule suggested by the trade associations, will operate from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.while department stores and chain stores, according to the schedule proposed by the Association of Businesses and Retail Sales of Greece (SELPE) will be open until 8 pm.
For Holy Weekaccording to the schedule proposed to its members by the Athens Chamber of Commerce the schedule will be 9 in the morning with 9 in the eveningfrom Holy Monday to Holy Thursday, while on Good Friday the shops are proposed to be open from 1 noon to 7 pm and Holy Saturday from 9 in the morning until 3 at noon. The same schedule is proposed by the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce with a small difference in terms of the schedule of Holy Saturday which is proposed to be from 9 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon.
For the big stores, the department stores and the chain stores, the Association of Businesses and Retail Sales of Greece (SELPE) announced that the opening hours from Holy Monday to Holy Thursday will be 9 in the morning with 9 in the evening, for Good Friday it will be from at 1 pm to 9 pm and on Holy Saturday from 9 am to 8 pm.
It is reminded that on Easter Sunday and Monday 25 April the shops are not open.
