They are dyes with yarn or floss threads. They are marketed in bags, especially in stores that sell threads and sewing items, but you can also find them in supermarkets. They are very cheap, ie they will cost you less than the paints and you can use them again and paint as many eggs as you want.

Instructions

Step 1: Cut the foil into squares, of such a size that you can wrap an egg.

Step 2: Cut the threads into small pieces and put them in a bowl.

Step 3: Wet the raw eggs, put them in the bowl with the threads, so that some pieces stick to them and wrap them in pieces of foil. You can also wrap each egg with a few threads and then continue with the foil.

Step 4: Place the eggs in the pot, add enough water and vinegar (for a medium saucepan put one to two cups) and cook over medium heat for about twenty minutes to half an hour.

Step 5: Leave them to cool and unroll them. You can pass them with a little oil to polish them or leave them like that. You can reuse the threads for the next dose.

Extra Tip: You can buy threads of the same shades, to have monochrome but equally impressive eggs.
