More than 250,000 certificates arrived genuine signature via docs.gov.gr announced in a post on twitter o Minister of Digital Government, Kyriakos Pierrakakis. Specifically, as he wrote, “through docs.gov.gr, citizens no longer need to wait in queues to confirm the authenticity of their signature. We continue to implement services that have at the center of their operation the facilitation of everyday life @grnet_gr “.
It should be noted that docs.gov.gr was activated on November 19, 2021 and operates as the gathering point of all services for the certification of genuine signature. This means that it integrated the services of the responsible declaration and the authorization (which were the first services that were added to gov.gr in March 2020) and added two new ones, the “Digital Document Certificate” and the “Digital Certificate of Private Agreement”.
This means that citizens can digitally certify their signature on any kind of document or contract. The platform was implemented by the National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures (EDYTE SA – GRNET), a supervised body of the Ministry of Digital Government.
