The opening hours of the stores today and tomorrow – How are those who work on holidays paid

Open from 9 am to 9 pm will be the commercial and department stores today M. Thursday 21 April.

Tomorrow, Good Fridayfor stores will be mandatory half-life – after 13:00 their operation will start and will last until 19:00.

The Holy Saturday it is a working day and the shops will be open 09:00 – 15:00.

On Easter Sunday the Sunday holiday is valid and Easter Monday is by law mandatory holiday.

Especially for department stores the proposed opening hours is:

Good Friday: 13:00 – 21:00
Holy Saturday: 09:00 – 20:00

For butchers the suggested opening hours are:

Good Friday: 13:00 – 18:00
Holy Saturday: 8:00 – 17:00

The stores, except for the butchers, will normally open on Tuesday 26 April.

How are those who work on holidays paid?

The following applies to those employees who work on Easter holidays:

1) If you are paid with wagethe wage and 75% surcharge.

2) If you are paid with monthly salary, 75% surcharge, calculated at 1/25 of their legal salary.

3) Alternate rest (break): If they are employed for more than 5 hours, they are entitled to a break, on another working day of the week.
