Turkish media: Damage to Hagia Sophia imperial gate repaired

It is recalled that yesterday, Thursday, the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakisit had contact via phone with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay on the vandalism of the Imperial Gate.

During the communication, Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed his deep regret and disgust for the situation in which the Symbol of Christianity, a World Heritage Site, has fallen and stressed that these actions that do not respect the history of the monument, put in endanger its integrity and its universal character.
