Scenes from police thriller unfolded last night at Monemvasiawhen agricultural vehicle driver which according to testimonies was in amok conditionknocked duckling with two elderly people passengers, dragged one for 200 meters and then returned to the point and dragged the second for 150 meters in the opposite direction. Both elderly people were killed.
The 50-year-old guideallegedly took refuge in the restaurant parking lot from where he was chased when they saw him his vehicle full of blood. In order for the authorities to stop him placed a patrol in the middle of the road as well as another vehicle, which he vaccinated.
“He was in a state of amok and he was going at high speed and spinning”said Mr. Deputy Mayor of Monemvasia Mr. Stavros Christakos on SKAI TV and the show “SK Parea”.
He also mentioned that the road is filled with blood at the points where it lured the riders of the bike.
Mr. Christakis said that most likely the driver and the victims knew each other as they are all inhabitants of Monemvasia which has about 1000 inhabitants.
