As reported by cretalive.gr, around 06.00 yesterday morning, a patrol car of Immediate Action rushed to Patella Street, to intervene in fierce quarrel between a couple that was evolving in publicinside and outside the car.
The residents of the area who notified EL.AS. reported that the 35-year-old man was beating his girlfriendabout 30 years old, with the episode continuing with undiminished intensity.
The patrol car hurried and then the police officers saw the man in front of their eyes to pull the girl out of the car and hit her. The police stopped the 35-year-old and asked for his details, while according to police sources, the man insisted on refusing to give any information about his identity. In fact, his behavior is described as reactive, while he seemed to have consumed alcohol. The man’s persistent refusal and his divisive attitude resulted in him being caught in the arms of the police officer conducting the search, while after an hour his partner had to speak, who – to the great surprise of the police – informed them that he was … their colleague!
The 35-year-old was also arrested brought before the Prosecutor. The case file against him concerns domestic violence, as well as threats, insults, resistance and disobedience against police officers.
