Death of a 3-year-old: The medical file is in the hands of the technical advisor of the family

Questions about the conditions remain unanswered of the death of a 3-year-old girl in Thessalonikiafter hospitalization initially at the “Papageorgiou” Hospital and then at the “Hippocrates” Hospital, where he ended up on May Day.

The girl’s parents Mr.filed a lawsuit at the Toumpa – Triandria police stationwith which are directed against everything responsiblein order to investigate any omissions and responsibilities of doctors, while The Minister of Health Thanos Plevris gave an order to conduct an investigation into the hospital conditions.

The medical record from “Papageorgiou” has been handed over to the police station, where the lawsuit was filed and with the intervention of the prosecutor, an order was given to provide copies of the file to the technical symbol defined by the girl’s family. Copies will also be notified to the medical examiner of AUTh which is investigating the cause of death and so far has not reached specific conclusions, as well as the Ministries of Citizen Protection and Health.

In the meantime, on May 18 it is expected to take place meeting of the parents of a 3-year-old with the Minister of Healthas it became known from the family environment.

It is recalled that the unfortunate little girl was introduced on Holy Tuesday to “Papageorgiou” with swelling in the ankle and low-grade fever, while a few days later, his health deteriorated. After 11 days of hospitalization and as his health was not improving, with the doctors not coming to a safe medical diagnosis considering – according to the family environment – even the possibility of Kawasaki diseasethe little girl was served intubated at “Hippocrates”, where she ended up a few hours later.
