No missed semester for candidates with serious illnesses who wish to be admitted to Higher Education Institutions, thanks to the acceleration and simplification of the application process for their Application-Computer Card.
In previous years, the submission of computer programs for candidates with serious illnesses admitted to our universities at a rate of 5% in excess of the number of admissions, began in early September and their results were published in mid-October – previously published even in December, resulting in young students to start their studies at a disadvantage, essentially losing the first semester, with psychological, economic, social and other consequences.
Satisfying the constant request of the candidates for the issuance of results in the same period of time as the candidates of the Panhellenic Examinations, so that the beginning of their studies coincides with that of the successful students of this year, the Minister of Education and Religions Niki Kerameos signed the Ministerial Access Higher education of people suffering from serious diseases in 5% in excess of the number of entrantsaccording to:
1. The process of submitting the Application-Computer Card of the candidates with serious diseases will take place from now on in the month of May.
2. The results will be issued at the same time as the results of the Panhellenic Examinations.
3. The successful candidates will now be able to register electronically and send their supporting documents to the Secretariats of the schools of success by post, without the need for their transfer.
Details on the procedure for submitting the Application-Computer Bulletin of candidates with serious illnesses will be announced in the coming days, with the issuance of a circular.
