A blind old and distressed dog seeks hospitality after he is removed from the house where he was chained and abandoned to his fate.

With a complaint submitted to AT Stylidas on Sunday 08-05-2022 by a member of the association “Friends of Animals and Humans” An elderly dog ​​was asked to be permanently chained from the railings of a house in Karavomylos, Fthiotida and outside its fencing, citing (apart from the permanent chaining) that the dog has serious damage to his eyes (obviously blind) and has serious His condition refers to a very distressed animal in poor nutritional status. It was requested to be returned to the competent municipality in accordance with applicable law.

Yesterday, on 10-05-2022, the procedures for the removal of the dog took place and after it was examined by the veterinary clinic that cooperates with the municipality of Stylida, the issue of its hospitality is raised, since the said municipality does not have a shelter. This is a peaceful old animal for which the Municipality will offer its treatment and food expenses and we hope to find a sensitive citizen to give him the care and warmth he has been deprived of so much.

It is sad that the dog, as seen in the photos, was chained to a central point of Karavomylos and none of those who saw him every day, except a sensitive fellow citizen, was not interested in the torment he lived for so many years.

Permanent chaining is a passive abuse and violation of the law.
