Rape case in a village of Amaliada – Postponement and psychiatric expertise

For Monday, November 21, 2022, the review of the case of the young man, alleged as a perpetrator, who charge of rape of his sister for three consecutive years in a village of the Municipality of Ilida together with his uncle.

In particular, with the consent of the Investigator and the Prosecutor, it was decided to appoint special experts in order to perform all the necessary examinations and to assess the state of mental health of the young man.

For this reason, in the new trial set on the above date, the results of the experts before the court in order to continue his trial and decide whether he will be punished or not.

The chronicle of the case

The case had shocked the society of Ilia in 2019, for the drama it was living the girl from 13 to 16 yearswhen he revealed everything he was experiencing.

For about 3 years the unfortunate girl, as she complained, was living nightmarish moments from her own brother and her father’s brother, who allegedly did not hesitate to quench his sick appetites in his underage niece.

Fearing her then, she did not find the strength to do anything complaint, however shortly before everything was revealed in mid-2019, he left the village where he lived the nightmare. Her father appealed to the Police, asking them to intervene so that his daughter could return home.

With the help of her friend, she went to Patras, where her mother lived, since her parents are divorced, and there she revealed what she lived in the village.

Her father, however, reported his daughter’s flight with her friend to the Ilida Security Department and the police authorities began to search for her.

The police located the girl and from the first contact they had with her they realized that something was wrong. A little later he revealed everything to them.
