Until yesterday, the investigations were focused in and around the OSE train station in Pyrgos after there was a testimony of a woman who stated that last Friday night she saw the 39-year-old man in the specific area and specifically near the 1st High School of the city. However, from the research of the OPKE and DI.AS teams. which were found at the spot and thoroughly searched both the alleys of the city and the wagons inside the station, no evidence emerged that testified that Thymios was staying or passing through.

In fact, yesterday morning, a helicopter got up to help with the search, while in Pyrgos, a ladder of the 6th EMAK Patras was found again with a new specially trained dog, however, these efforts to locate it were fruitless.

The fact that Thymios Bougas used to be “lost” and isolated in the past for a long time complicates the work of the Authorities who now turn their attention to Roma camps, with which the 39-year-old had relations and had found refuge in the past. .

The investigations have been extended outside Pyrgos, with the authorities looking for him in his village in Arcadia, but without finding any traces of him.

One of the main issues that have arisen and must be answered immediately, is whether the 39-year-old during his disappearance took with him the machine that helps him, so that he can eat.

Speaking on ERT’s show, the mayor of Pyrgos, P. Antonakopoulos, condemned any intimidating behavior towards Thymios Bougas and called for provision to be made so that “the mental and spiritual poisons that are reinforced through social networks do not circulate freely.”

As Mr. Antonakopoulos said, “Thymios is an extreme case of diversion of human behaviors. In the past, he was absent for 2 months from his neighborhood, but now the reasons that forced him to leave are more specific and more dangerous. When he reported the incident to the competent services, he was instructed to file a lawsuit. It may be in a house, because feeding it requires mechanical support.
