OPEC – Social Tourism: Applications for rural housing programs begin

OPEC is proceeding with the implementation of its programs Rural Home Account (LAE), year 2022, with emphasis on social tourism and children’s camps.

Agrotiki Estia is again this year on the side of the farmers, the peasant mother and the child through a series of social programs that aim to financially support and entertain the people of the countryside.

RURAL HOME PROGRAMS

• Social / spa tourism: 53,500 beneficiaries
• Children’s camp program: 1,500 children
• Excursion program: 12,500 beneficiaries
• Free book delivery: 130,000 beneficiaries
• Free theater tickets: 32,500 beneficiaries
• Financial aids: 1000 mothers with many children and 4000 mothers with three children.

PARTICULARLY:
A) from Wednesday 18 May 2022 until Tuesday 31 May 2022, companies wishing to participate in the LAE / OPECA Programs of the year 2022 can apply for participation in the electronic application www.opeka.gr/agrotiki-estia/ilektronikes-ypiresies/ in the section: Applications Applications for entrepreneurs – providers LAE / OPEC 2022

B) From Monday, May 23, 2022 until Wednesday, June 15, 2022, those interested in the programs of the Agricultural Center will be able to submit the relevant applications for participation in the KEP of the whole country.

In order to submit the application for participation in the KEP, they must present:
1. Any document from which the Social Security Registration Number (AMKA) is derived, as well as their protected members (eg health booklet or AMKA certificate) or any document from which the Registration Number (AM) OGA is obtained
2. Police ID card
3. In the case of OGA retirees who have been subjected to e-EFKA and suffer from mental disability, DOWN syndrome or cerebral palsy, the notification of the result of the disability certification or its decision is also required.

In detail, the seven programs for 2022 are as follows:
1. SOCIAL TOURISM: It’s about 6 days vacation for 50,000 beneficiaries. The validity period is from 5 July 2022 to 30 May 2023.

Specifically for Northern Evia, the following apply: The beneficiaries of the social tourism program who will choose to use their tickets in LAE / OPECA contracted tourist accommodation of the Municipalities of Istiaia – Edipsos and Mantoudi – Limni – Agia Anna of the Peripheral Unit are entitled to up to eleven (11) days – ten (10) nights.

Participation right in the social tourism program have:
a) the retirees of e-EFKA (OGA) and the retirees of the Uninsured Elderly Account of article 1 of L.1296 / 1982.
b) the insured of e-EFKA (OGA) who are insurance aware on the 31st of December of the previous year (2021) of the submission of the application form.
c) the members of the families of the above persons with the right of care deriving from a beneficiary of benefits of LAE / OPEC

2. SPA TOURISM: It concerns a 6-day vacation and five simple baths for 3,500 retirees. Those interested can make use of this program and related accommodation from 5 July 2022 to 30 May 2023.

Especially for North Evia The following apply: The beneficiaries of the spa tourism program who will choose to use their tickets in LAE-OPECA contracted tourist accommodation of the Municipalities of Istiaia – Edipsos and Mantoudi – Limni – Agia Anna of the Regional Unit of Evia are entitled in parallel with the ten overnight stays, free up to 10 simple baths in legally operating facilities of thermal springs and hydrotherapy centers of the upper Municipalities of the Regional Unit of Evia.

The retirees of e-EFKA (OGA) and the retirees of the Uninsured Elderly Account of article 1 of L.1296 / 1982 have the right to participate in the spa tourism program.

3. EXCURSION TOURISM: It concerns four-day excursions for 12,500 beneficiaries and always with contracted tourist offices. Those interested will be able to use this program from July 5, 2022 to May 30, 2023.

Note: the 4-day free excursions are valid as long as the cost of the excursion does not exceed the value of the ticket of 160 euros. Accommodation in rooms of two stars and more for hotels, three and more beds for rooms to let. The excursionists will move exclusively within the borders of Greece.

The following have the right to participate in the excursion tourism program:
a) The retirees of e-EFKA (OGA) and the retirees of the Uninsured Elderly Account of article 1 of L.1296 / 1982.
b) The insured of e-EFKA (OGA) who are insurance informed on the 31st of December of the previous year (2021) of the submission of the application form.

The members of the families of the above persons with the right of care deriving from a beneficiary of benefits of LAE / OPEC

4. CHILDREN’S CAMPS: It concerns a 16-day program for 1,500 children beneficiaries of the Agricultural Center.

The children’s camp program is valid from: 15-6-2022 to: a) 03-09-2022 (final date of departure from the camp) for children of normal development and b) 20-9-2022 (final date of departure from the camp) for children with disabilities of 50% or more.

EXCEPTION: To participate in the children’s camp program, the application is submitted to the e-mail address www.opeka.gr/agrotiki-estia/ilektronikes-ypiresies/ from 23 May 2022 to 7 June 2022

The right to participate in the program of children’s camps have:
a) Children aged 6 to 16 years, who are children of pensioners or insured of e-EFKA (OGA) who are insured on December 31 of the previous year (2021) of submitting an application.

b) Children aged 6 to 16 years, if they receive an orphan pension or paraplegia-quadriplegia allowance from e-EFKA (OGA). The date of completion of the 16th year of age is considered to be 31 December of the year 2022, regardless of the month of birth.

The above persons have active insurance capacity, and the children have the right to care arising from a beneficiary of benefits of LAE / OPEC.

5. FREE BOOKS: The program concerns 130,000 beneficiaries, who can purchase books of their choice with a total value of 20 euros for each beneficiary and 30 euros for each beneficiary child, from contract bookstores and publishing houses across the country. The validity of this program is from July 5, 2022 to May 30, 2023.

Eligible to participate in the free books program are:
a) the retirees of e-EFKA (OGA) and the retirees of the Uninsured Elderly Account of article 1 of L.1296 / 1982.
b) The insured of e-EFKA (OGA) who are insurance informed on the 31st of December of the previous year (2021) of the submission of the application form.

The members of the families of the above persons with the right of care deriving from a beneficiary of benefits of LAE / OPEC
6. FREE THEATER TICKETS. The program concerns 32,500 beneficiaries for theatrical performances in all major cities of Greece. The validity period is from July 5, 2022 to May 30, 2023. For each ticket, the company is subsidized with an amount of up to 15 euros for the Main Stage and with an amount of up to 12 euros for the Children’s Stage.
Eligible to participate in the program for free theater tickets are:
a) The retirees of e-EFKA (OGA) and the retirees of the Uninsured Elderly Account of article 1 of L.1296 / 1982.
b) The insured of e-EFKA (OGA) who are insurance informed on the 31st of December of the previous year (2021) of the submission of the application form.

7. FINANCIAL AID FOR MOTHERS WITH MULTIPLE AND THREE CHILDREN:
The program is aimed at 1,000 large families who will receive assistance of 1,000 euros and 4,000 rural mothers with three children who will receive assistance of 700 euros.

Eligible to participate in the program are: The mothers with three or more children retired or insured of e-EFKA (OGA) to be insurance informed on December 31 of the previous year (2021) of submitting an application.

Prerequisites: Mothers must have 3 children with three children, and those with many children must have at least 4 children, who are unmarried and unemployed and must not be over 18 years of age, or 19 years, if they continue their education in the middle education, or the 24th year if they study in Greece in higher or higher education, or study in the “Post-secondary year – Apprenticeship Class” of Vocational High Schools (EPAL) or in Vocational Training Institutes (IEK), or are children with a percentage 50% or more, regardless of age.

The date of completion of the 18th, 19th and 24th year of age is considered to be the 31st of December of the year 2022, regardless of the month of birth.

DRAW
After the processing of the applications and if their number exceeds the number of applications provided in the LAE / OPECA Programs, a draw follows with an electronic procedure. The distribution of beneficiaries is proportional to all prefectures, with priority to those who have not been drawn in the last three years. The beneficiaries are informed about the result of the draw through the OPECA website (www.opeka.gr) or through the KEP.
