by

Thirty million euros will be allocated for the subsidy of social tourism, through the program “Tourism for All” as stated in a Twitter post by government spokesman Giannis Oikonomou.

Mr. Economou pointed out that the subsidy this year is increased compared to previous yearsand added that the government supports tourism businesses and the Greek family.

The government spokesman notes, in particular, in his post: “With a plan we increase the subsidy of social tourism for each beneficiary through the new program “Tourism for All”. Under the new program, 30 million euros are provided to support the Greek family & tourism businesses».

The program concerns 200,000 beneficiaries, who will receive a digital card of 150 euros, each, to subsidize their tourist accommodation expenses. The new program uses the implementation of the “Freedom Pass” as a basis, providing a fully digital process – without delays and bureaucratic entanglements – simple and effective, for both beneficiaries and tourism businesses.
