Clear weather today with a drop in temperature – Where it will rain

Generally clear provided the weather today (19/5). In the southern Ionian, Peloponnese and possibly Crete, the Cyclades and the Dodecanese are forecast clouds temporarily increased with local rains and isolated thunderstorms which will gradually weaken.

In Thrace, the islands of the eastern Aegean, Evia, the Sporades and the eastern Mainland local clouds and from late afternoon generally clear.

In the other areas generally clear weather.

The winds in the east will blow north northeast 5 to 7, in the central and southern Aegean locally 8 and temporarily up to 9 Beaufort. In the west will blow northeast 3 to 5 and in the Ionian locally 6 beauforts

The temperature will note noticeable decline across the country. It will reach their northern continents 22 to 23, their western continents 24 to 25 and the rest of their continents 22 to 23 degrees Celsius. In the Ionian islands it will reach 25 and in the Aegean islands 22 to 23 degrees Celsius.

ATTICA

Weather: A few clouds locally increased in the east and north and from late afternoon generally clear.
Winds: North northeast 5 to 7 and east and north up to 8 Beaufort with gradual weakening from the afternoon.
Temperature: Up to 21 degrees Celsius. In the east and north 2 to 3 degrees lower.

THESSALONIKI

Weather: Generally clear and only in the afternoon there will be a few local clouds.
Winds: Variable and from the evening south to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: Up to 22 degrees Celsius.

EUBOEA

Weather: Cloudy skies temporarily increased and from late afternoon generally clear.
Winds: North northeast 5 to 7 and south to 8 Beaufort with gradual weakening from the afternoon.
Temperature: Up to 20 degrees Celsius.

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW FRIDAY 20-05-2022

In the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese the clouds temporarily increased with local rains and isolated thunderstorms and improvement from the evening.
In the rest of the country generally clear weather.
Winds in the west will blow north northwest 3 to 5 and from the afternoon in the Ionian 6 and probably locally up to 7 Beaufort. In the east they will blow from north 5 to 7 and in the Aegean locally 8 beauforts, weakening from the night.
The temperature will rise slightly, mainly in the west and north. It will range in the western and northern continents from 09 to 26 and in the rest of the mainland from 12 to 25 degrees Celsius. In the Ionian islands it will range from 15 to 24 and in the Aegean islands from 15 to 21 degrees Celsius.

ATTICA

Winds: North 5 to 7 and east to 8 Beaufort, with gradual weakening from the afternoon.
Temperature: From 15 to 23 degrees Celsius. In the east and north the maximum will be 2 to 3 degrees lower.

THESSALONIKI

Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 11 to 26 degrees Celsius.

EUBOEA
Weather: Generally clear.
Winds: North northeast 4 to 6 and south 7 to 8 Beaufort, with gradual weakening from the afternoon.
Temperature: From 14 to 21 degrees Celsius.

In the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese clouds temporarily increased with local rains and possibly isolated thunderstorms. In the rest of the country generally clear weather.
The winds will blow from north 3 to 5 and until the afternoon in the central and southern Aegean locally 6 beaufort.
The temperature will rise and will reach 28 to 30 degrees on the mainland and 25 to 27 degrees Celsius on the island country.

In the Dodecanese a few clouds temporarily increased with local rains, possibly isolated thunderstorms and gradual improvement from noon. In the rest of the country generally clear weather with light clouds in the central and north. During the noon and afternoon hours the clouds in the mainland will increase, at which time there will be isolated thunderstorms in the north and local showers in the mountains of the rest of the regions.
Winds will blow west northwest 3 to 5 and locally south 6 beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly further.
