For SYRIZA, today’s debate in Parliament. The meetings on the 7th floor of Koumoundourou were many in the last days, as in the Plenary o Alexis Tsipras expected to develop a very wide range of topics. The pre-day debate on social policy was requested to be held by Kyriakos Mitsotakis and in Koumoundourou they estimate that the prime minister wants to play ball in the “court” of SYRIZA, as the defense of the middle and lower classes has been ordered by the official opposition.

The discussion will have the following specificity: it may be the last showdown with the prime minister before the summer break, but they see it as the first clash of the informal election season that has begun. Alexis Tsipras is expected to pressure Kyriakos Mitsotakis for the date of the election. Many executives in SYRIZA argue that useful conclusions will be drawn from his position – that is, how persuasively he will insist on exhausting the four-year term. The former prime minister, however, is expected to insist on his request for an immediate appeal to the popular verdict, arguing that “political change must come before the country is further burdened by the ND’s choices.” In any case, the official opposition believes that the week after August 15th, if not earlier, Kyriakos Mitsotakis will announce the date of the elections.

Alexis Tsipras is expected to focus on her topic in the debate economy.her accuracyof inflationary pressures and their weakness households to take out the month, as he is typically expected to say. It is no coincidence that last night he presented it SYRIZA program for housing. It included, among other things, the repeal of the bankruptcy law passed by the ND, regulations for vulnerable categories of citizens, the control of Airbnb activity, special provisions for new couples (doubling of subsidies and income criteria), but also the creation of a Housing Bank.

The leader of the official opposition is expected to focus on two issues where the tones are expected to be high: The Novartis and Greek-Turkish. The Saturday announcement by Alexis Tsipras that “we will take you to the end, Mr. Mitsotakis”, shows the polemic that Koumoundourou is developing on this specific issue. The will of the Judicial Council proves that the Novartis scandal is now, and with the stamp of Justice, existing, they argue in Koumoundourou. From the floor of the Parliament, Alexis Tsipras, according to information, is expected to warn that for any political figure there are “shadows” and money that is not justified in his accounts, the case should be removed from the file.

In Greek-Turkish after the NATO Summit in Madrid, SYRIZA has come out more aggressively against the government. They argue that the prime minister, in addition to following for the country wrong strategy of the “given ally” acting to the detriment of national interests, significantly burdens the budget with 14 billion already spent on equipment. Alexis Tsipras is expected to comment on Tayyip ErdoÄŸan’s unacceptable intervention in the political internal affairs of Greece, who called on the Greek people to “teach a lesson through the democratic path to the rulers”, as well as the governmental leaks that followed it.
