The president of SYRIZA is expected to pressure Kyriakos Mitsotakis for the date of the elections.

For SYRIZA, today’s debate in Parliament. The former prime minister, however, is expected to insist on his request for an immediate appeal to the popular verdict, arguing that “political change must come before the country is further burdened by the ND’s choices.” In any case, the official opposition believes that the week after August 15th, if not earlier, Kyriakos Mitsotakis will announce the date of the elections.
