That’s all one can say about her court decision for Dimitris Lignadis it is a shame, says the press representative of SYRIZA Progressive Alliance, Nasos Iliopoulos, in a statement.
He adds that the decision is a result of the favorable atmosphere that Mr. Mitsotakis and Ms. Mendoni tried to create from the beginning of the case.
The statement of Mr. Iliopoulos is as follows:
“From today, the man who was sentenced to 12 years for the rape of minors, will be free by the decision of the Court.
When the revelations began, Mr. Mitsotakis and Ms. Mendoni tried for twenty days to “cover up” the case by creating a favorable surrounding atmosphere for the rapist and then artistic director of the National Theater Dimitris Lignadis, at the same time that the victims who had the courage to speak.
This atmosphere was also reflected today in the court’s decision.
All one can say is shame.”
