The two days in the Parliament were indicative of the polarization in which the parties are leading in the electoral contest. The debate on the universities was the “means of relaxation” of the forces of the Parliament who are looking for the best possible polling position before the summer.

From measurement of Pulse for SKAI TV many useful conclusions about the tendency of the electorate are drawn. First of all, the strengthening of the two “big ones” continues, showing that the polarization has started to favor them from very early on. ND (34%) is strengthened by 0.5% compared to June, as is SYRIZA (26%) by one unit.

For the blue faction, the bet is not to enter a cycle of government deterioration without turning back, and it seems that it is winning in a difficult situation.

The official opposition continues its upward march with steady, but still small, steps. In this measurement, however, it rises half a point higher than the majority.

The fact that Alexis Tsipras’s party has not made any poll jump in these three years confirms those in Koumundourou who believe that the prime minister’s choice not to go to early elections is convenient for the party.

PASOK seems to be a victim of the conflict between ND and SYRIZA, but also of the pre-election scenario that has been set up. Loses one unit dropping to 13%.

The KKE remains stable in its intention to vote, with a reduction in valid votes to 5.5%.

A small drop to 0.5% is recorded for the Hellenic Solution (4%), MeRA25 remains at the same percentage with 3%. The undecideds, who are targeted by all forces in order to catch votes until the last moment, are at 8%.

The poll sample is still almost divided on the timing of the elections despite the prime minister’s clear statement that the government will exhaust the four-year term. 47% (+1% compared to June) prefer the elections to be held in 2023 and close to the end of her term. 42% (-1% compared to June) in 2022.

However, the Kyriakos Mitsotakis it seems to speak more to the sentiment of those who describe themselves as centrists, as 51% want the polls to be held next spring.

The supremacy of the ND also results from the fact that Kyriakos Mitsotakis is still the first choice of the respondents to handle the energy crisis (34%), economic issues (36%) and Greek-Turkish issues (40%).

The percentages of Alexis Tsipras are 27%, 27% and 24% respectively.

For the next few months until the simple proportional polls, the electoral confrontation will continue to revolve around everyday life. After all, the messages of the political leaders have been focused on young people, the lower and middle classes, but also the retired.

According to the poll, electricity still worries citizens the most – despite the benefits provided by the power pass – by 36%. This is why the opposition as a whole has targeted this issue. Food prices are a concern at 22%, as is fuel.

Citizens’ concern about Greek-Turkish language has decreased by 10 points (56% from 66%), which shows that the government’s latest diplomatic actions have calmed public opinion.
