“Together, under the umbrella of Hellenic Aid, we are organizing an aid program in developing countries. We have selected eight countries, in which Fetal Medicine Clinics will be created”

“A very large part of Hellenism, a prosperous part of Hellenism, as we know by tradition, is the Hellenism of the Diaspora, which excels. Such a worthy child of Hellenism, who lives, is active and serves society in England, I had the great honor to present the medal today on behalf of the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mrs. Sakellaropoulou” emphasized the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias after the awarding of the distinguished Professor of Fetal Medicine of King’s College London and University College London, Cyprus Nicolaidis.

“I would like to say, from the side of the Government, that we are very proud, we are very proud of the work that Cyprus Nikolaidis provides to the global community. He is perhaps the first, and best known, professor of Fetal Medicine on the planet. It has saved the lives of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of children. He has honored Cyprus, he has honored Hellenism, he has honored Greece,” said the Foreign Minister.

“And also together, under the umbrella of Hellenic Aid, we organize an aid program in developing countries. We have selected eight countries, in which Fetal Medicine Clinics will be created to help the mothers and children of these countries. And in these eight Clinics, whose expenses have been fully covered by the Cyprus Nicolaidis Foundation, the Greek flag will fly. As a presumption of contribution of our homeland and Cyprus Nicolaidis to the world community. I repeat, I am particularly proud to have had the pleasure of awarding him today” added Mr. Dendias.
