Departure of summer excursions: 23,564 passengers left Piraeus yesterday

Passengers traveling today should be at the ship’s departure dock earlier due to increased traffic on the perimeter roads.

The departure of summer excursions from the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio, while the Coast Guard takes all the necessary measures to facilitate passengers and vehicles. Over 45,000 passengers left the three ports yesterday.

Passengers who are going to travel today (Saturday) should be earlier at the ship’s departure dock, due to increased traffic on the surrounding roads.

From the port of Piraeus, 24 itineraries are scheduled for today for the Aegean islands and Crete, for the Argosaronic islands 12 with passenger ferries and 24 with hydrofoils, 14 itineraries from Rafina and 8 from Lavrio.

Yesterday, Friday 22/07, traffic from all three ports was particularly high.

23 departures took place from the port of Piraeus, while they departed for an Aegean island, the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese a total of 23,564 passengers4,027 vehicles, 764 trucks and 627 two-wheelers.

For the Argosaronic islands, 41 ships departed, while 9,373 passengers, 1,033 motor vehicles, 33 trucks and 396 two-wheelers departed.

17 routes were made from Rafina, while 9,166 passengers, 1,908 cars, 87 trucks and 230 two-wheelers left for an island in the Cyclades.

11 ships departed from Lavrio, while 3,811 passengers, 950 cars, 45 trucks and 107 two-wheelers departed.
