Tsipras: The government is in complete confusion, possibly in panic

by

The president of SYRIZA-PS, Alexis Tsipras, harshly criticized the prime minister personally for the measure of compulsory vaccination in those over 60, during his speech in Parliament, accusing the government of being in “absolute confusion” and “possibly in panic”.

Starting his speech, Al. Tsipras underlined that yesterday’s decision and the way it was announced show that “in a very critical moment, of unprecedented crisis and insecurity”, the prime minister appears “with complacency” and claims that “they save lives”.

Among other things, the president of SYRIZA-PS, referred once again to the “negative record in deaths per million”, while he pointed out that almost 150 people yesterday and today are “roughly intubated outside the ICU” and “we have no idea if they have any hopes to save their lives “.

“This is a tragedy. And on it you take a stand and once again wave your finger at the opposition,” he told the prime minister, asking if they were “satisfied” and if “everything went well”.

“You are in complete confusion. You have lost control and you may be in a panic, which is a very bad development and you are making one mistake after another,” said Al. Tsipras called on the government and the prime minister to “get serious” and “recover”.
