He explained why fuel adulteration is difficult to detect and what happened to his ministerial car.

Last night the first permit for a skyscraper was issued in Greece, as announced by the Minister of Development, Adonis Georgiadis on SKAI TV and the show “Morning Information”. According to the minister, the construction of the tower in Elliniko, 192 meters high, is expected to begin in a few weeks.

Regarding fuel, the Minister of Development said that things are better than two months ago. “Wood to knock, because everything depends on the international environment in this sector, so we are very vulnerable, but nevertheless the price at the moment is much better than it was a few weeks ago”, said Mr. Georgiadis.

For Fuel Pass 2, he commented that much of it is directed to other expenses than fuel, as 70% of beneficiaries preferred to receive 15 euros less money in their bank account than to choose the e-wallet, in order to spend it where they want .

Regarding inflation, he said that the monthly decrease was the largest across the EU and that to some extent the effects of inflation have been absorbed by a series of government measures to reduce taxes and social security contributions and the various benefits.

Regarding fuel fraud, he emphasized that mixed crews have already permanently closed two gas stations, however, he explained that control is very difficult. The forgery is done in a very sophisticated technical way and to be detected it must be at a rate of more than 50%.

He even revealed that even in his official car he happened to put gas and it had a problem, but in the check done at the gas station, the fuel came out fine.
