Elections-KINAL: Decision for “silent extension” – What will apply after 20:00 in the polling stations

by

A decision for a “silent extension” has been taken in some polling stations where voting procedures are underway for the election of a new leader in KINAL.

This means that although there is no decision to extend the time during which interested citizens can rush to vote, however, in polling stations where there is a large crowd, voters who arrived at the polling stations before 20:00 will be able to vote. normally and after the end of the time limit.

In any case, this possibility will apply strictly to polling stations where there is an influx of people.

A climate of satisfaction prevails in every case in the offices of KINAL as the interest of the citizens for the process and the attendance at the polls exceeded all expectations.

The 263,000 are estimated to have already cast their ballots shortly after 7pm. The estimates of the staffs at the same time are that the votes could exceed 270 thousand, reaching even 280 thousand.

Half an hour before the end of the process, however, the number of voters is approaching 270,000.

It is noted that the turnout rates have far exceeded the participation in the internal party elections of 2017, where 212,000 citizens had voted.
