Former football player Ronaldo Nazário, 45, and streamer and former e-sports player Alexandre Gaules, 38, are launching the “Phenomenos Podcast”, where they will interview several personalities and “phenomena” that are in evidence.
The initiative will unite the two former players in live-recorded episodes and remote chats. Ronaldo now lives in Spain, where he is president of the Real Valladolid team.
The first season has ten episodes in all, and will be broadcast on the presenters’ channels on Twitch. Only after showing the programs on the platform, it will be possible to follow the episodes on YouTube.
Names such as Neymar and Tiago Leifert will be interviewed, as well as other personalities. The first episode of the podcast was recorded at the Museu do Futebol, in São Paulo, and is a conversation between the two presenters.
Ronaldo said that he started to broadcast his matches online during the pandemic, always following Gaules’ lives. “I launched Ronaldo TV and got very close to Gaules, he became a partner in games. The podcast is the result of this connection between us and the episodes are becoming sensational. Gaulish and I know how to make guests feel at ease, after all they are our friends. And that’s where the best reviews come out,” explained the former player.
Gaules is also excited about the podcast. “It’s always an honor to talk and exchange ideas with Ronaldo. Adding a third phenomenon to the conversation brings many different stories and subjects, in some cases they’re different worlds, but mostly, all filled with lots of laughs. Everything a good review should have” , commented the streamer.
In October, the Gaules channel on Twitch became the most watched globally, with more than three million followers and peaks of 343,000 devices simultaneously watching its broadcasts. Ronaldo recently started his channel on the platform, Ronaldo TV, where he appears playing live games and commenting on various sporting events.
