The ADAE is the institutional counterweight, in order to respect the letter of the Constitution and to protect every citizen from malicious practices that violate the constitutional right to the privacy of communications.

I know that there is the notorious article 87 of the law of March 2021, the amendment of Mr. Mitsotakis, which aims to paralyze the capabilities of the AIAEA to investigate and provide answers to every citizen, but this cannot stand in the face of the constitutional imperative, not to tell us which persons are being monitored but to tell us if they are being monitored and how many political figures and in this case MPs and MEPs. I am sure that both the president of ADAE and those who staff it will do their duty. I expect that the president of the Parliament will also do his duty.”
