With a wide majority, due to the support of SYRIZA, the bill for the rehabilitation of the Elefsina Shipyards was approved by the Plenary Session of the Parliament.
The positive attitude of the official opposition led to the acceptance by the Minister of Development of three proposals that were put forward during the debate by the representatives of SYRIZA. First, the Production and Trade committee should be informed of the final resolution plan before submitting the agreement to the courts.
Furthermore, Adonis Georgiadis accepted the legal technical improvement, at the request of SYRIZA, with which it is expressly stated that the compensations should have been given to the employees no later than 120 days after the completion of the transfer.
