With the victorious victory of Nikos Androulakis, the electoral process for the election of the President of the Movement for Change continues.
Next Sunday (12/12) Nikos Androulakis and George Papandreou will claim the leadership of KIN.AL., after the first round of the internal party elections, where the other four candidates were “left behind”.
Andreas Loverdos, Pavlos Christidis, Haris Kastanidis and Pavlos Geroulanos, after the battle that took place and the mass participation of the citizens in the polls, “escape” the race for the leadership of the party.
With 90.50% of the votes incorporated (90.61% of the polling stations, equal to 242,500 votes) the percentages collected are as follows:
Nikos Androulakis, managing to almost double his percentages from 2017, came first with 37.03% (89,159). In second place George Papandreou with 27.79% (66,920), third Andreas Loverdos with 25.96% (62,507) and followed by Pavlos Christidis with 3.26% (7,840), Haris Kastanidis with 2.98% (7,185 ) and Pavlos Geroulanos with 2.97% (7.161).
Percentages by region
The battles by region are interesting. The predominance of Nikos Androulakis in Crete was sweeping, where he collected a percentage of 61.38%, against George Papandreou, who collected 24.69% and Andreas Loverdos, with only 10.07%.
A clear victory for Nikos Androulakis was shown by the percentages he collected in Halkidiki (55.39%). On the other hand, Andreas Loverdos came second in percentages (25.25%), while George Papandreou came third (11.56%).
Nikos Androulakis also collected large percentages in Thessaly (36.37%), compared to 29.45% of Mr. Papandreou and 23.1% of Andreas Loverdos.
Also, Central Macedonia with 37.13%, compared to 27.76% of Andreas Loverdos and 22.03% of Mr. Papandreou.
He also won the Ionian with almost 5 points from Mr. Papandreou and six from Mr. Loverdos.
But also Central Greece with 35.69%, with Messrs. Papandreou and Loverdo having almost the same percentage (28.83 – 28.66).
But in the Peloponnese it was about the same picture. Nikos Androulakis collected 36.1%, while Loverdos and Papandreou followed with 27.68 and 27.39 respectively.
Andreas Loverdos managed to beat Attica, but it was not enough, as it turned out to give him second place. He received a percentage of 33.3%, with Mr. Papandreou following with 29.39% and Mr. Androulakis third with 27.81%.
George Papandreou prevailed in Western Greece, where he was first with over 38%, with Mr. Androulakis coming second with a difference of five points and Mr. Loverdos collecting only 21%.
In the municipality of Athens, Mr. Papandreou prevailed with 30.36%, with Messrs. Loverdo and Androulakis following with percentages of 28.69% and 28.58% respectively.
The municipality of Piraeus was won by Andreas Loverdos with 32.15%, with Mr. Androulakis collecting 31% and Mr. Papandreou 30.43%.

Nikos Androulakis sent a message of unity with his statement, shortly after his first victory in the KINAL internal party elections.
