“Institutional information does not take place by ear or in private discussions, but through institutional channels,” the movement says in a statement
PASOK-Movement for Change considers today’s statements by the Minister of State, Giorgos Gerapetritis, regarding the briefing of Nikos Androulakis regarding his monitoring by the EYP, as the first setback.
A press release from the PASOK Press Office states that for days PASOK-Movement for Change has been calling on the Prime Minister to lift the secrecy of his subordinates in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as required by law, so that the reason for the monitoring of Nikos Androulakis can be revealed institutionally before the Commission Institutions and Transparency.
“The Minister of State, Giorgos Gerapetritis, admitted in a televised interview that “the government would provide absolute coverage and for the commander of the EYP to inform Mr. Androulakis of everything that may be informed, and therefore it is obvious that at this moment, if if Mr. Androulakis wishes, he can receive the legal information”, points out PASOK-KINAL and emphasizes: “However, institutional information is not given by ear or in private discussions, but through the institutional channels that the President has determined from the very beginning PASOK-Movement for Change”.
