The president of PASOK, Nikos Androulakis, submitted a request to the Communications Transparency and Privacy Authority (TRAP), in which he requests to be granted the file and the available material of the checks he has made in order to take legal action to defend his rights.

PASOK’s announcement states:

“Yesterday, an application by the president of PASOK-Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakis, was submitted to the ADAE requesting:
1) To provide a complete copy of the follow-up file, which will be extracted by the Authority’s Control Team during the control carried out at the EYP and as soon as it reaches the ADAE.
2) To provide a copy of the message received by the Authority and which contains the entire text of the order requiring the declassification of Mr. Androulakis’s communications, as well as the relevant correspondence, as contained in the file of prosecutorial orders declassifying communications ‘ article 5 par. 4 of Law 2225/1994 (as applicable), for which, according to the above provision, the President of ADAE informs “in any case” the leaders of the parties represented in the Parliament, such as PASOK -Movement of Change in this matter.
As noted in the application, the refusal of the former and current Commander of the EYP as well as the former Secretary General of the Prime Minister to provide information before the Parliament, constitutes an unprecedented situation at the expense of the rights of the President of PASOK-Movement for Change in which he is not informed for which reason he was monitored in order to fully exercise his rights against all criminal, disciplinary and civil authorities. In addition, it cannot defend itself in the face of government or other leaks of non-existent rumors”.
