Look who’s talking…

As the US government revealed yesterday, Russia had previously attempted to influence public opinion in 20 European countries by funding politicians, parties and the media with hundreds of millions of euros.

Especially for Greece, it was revealed that a Russian oligarch had financed with ten million euros a TV network of regional channels in 2016, which was then passionately supported by the SYRIZA government.

We still remember the fancy opening organized by the owner of the network at the time, with prominent members of the government at the time, such as Nikos Pappas, Panos Kamenos and Christos Spirtzis.

Why are we talking about this? Because even today SYRIZA is sucking the candy of media control from the current government, sometimes citing the Petsa list and sometimes because various nonsense spouted by its officials, such as the myth of vaccines for the corona virus, but also the free electricity they give to everyone.

So those who accuse their opponents of allegedly manipulating the media, had set as their main goal the complete control of the information by their own channel leaders, who turned out to be swindlers, frauds and predators.

Others were promoted with Russian dirty money from oligarchs with obvious motives and others by trying to get them nationwide television licenses, portraying them as tycoons, while they presented pastures as fillets and large contractors who could not even lay a cobblestone.

So the next time SYRIZA will suck this “sold media” candy again, let’s remember who they are.

Those who were trying to set up an “information junta” so that they would never be deprived of power…
