Request for the immediate convening of the parliament Institutions & Transparency Committeebecause of “additional elements” that arise in the case of surveillance of political figures, the parliamentary group of PASOK testified, with the first signatories Mr. X. Kastanidis and Mr. M. Katrini.
As they state in their relevant letter to the chairman of the committee, Ath. Bouras, “additional elements emerge in the case of surveillance of political figures and journalists (e.g. complaint by Christos Spirtzis), which are not the subject of the work of the Investigative Committee, which established in accordance with the decision of the Plenary of the Hellenic Parliament dated 29/8/2022”.
They also request “the immediate convening of the Institutions and Transparency Committee, before which we propose to summon for a hearing all the persons mentioned in the already published and submitted applications of the Parliamentary Groups of SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance and the Communist Party of Greece”.
