Economou in SKAI: Tsipras measures lead to a new memorandum, or to a huge increase in times for the middle class

by

As Mr. Oikonomou pointed out, “the old program of Thessaloniki, which was never implemented by the president of SYRIZA, seemed yesterday not only unrealistic, but also miserable”.

“The measures that Mr. Tsipras announced yesterday at the TIF amount to 25 billion euros. They are unenforceable promises, he doesn’t mean them, and he knows he won’t be called upon to implement them, and that’s why he says them” the government representative told SKAI and Giorgos Avtias Giannis Oikonomou.

“The Tsipras measures lead to a new memorandum or a huge increase in times for the middle class” warned Yannis Economou.

As he explained, by “good morning” the measures mean 10% increase in the primary deficit and “Dougrou” in a new memorandum. “Mr. Tsipras says he will re-nationalize PPC. Which PPC does it envisage? the one that was on the verge of bankruptcy? How will the bankrupt PPC be able to invest in RES?” he wondered. “Only the energy measures are around 16 billion euros” he added.

According to Mr. Oikonomou, “the memory grinding program of Thessaloniki, which was never implemented by the president of SYRIZA, seemed yesterday not only unrealistic, but also miserable, while Mitsotakis implements even more than he promises”.

“In the measures that are announced, there should be truth and honesty and they should not conceal a disastrous course for the country that society will pay for,” noted the government representative.
