A “window” of new government interventions to support citizens was left by George Gerapetritis.
The government has supported Greek society more than any country in Europe and will continue to do so, with the necessary caution and prudence, the Minister of State emphasizes in an interview with the Vradini newspaper, when asked if the interventions in basic consumption items or to support citizens in fuel or heating will continue.
The Minister of State also underlines that the government must daily seek the golden ratio between the substantial strengthening of the most vulnerable citizens from the introduced wave of accuracy and the avoiding excessive fiscal policy which would endanger our economy.
Referring to Turkey, which is escalating its threats against our country on the occasion of the abominable act with the naked refugees in the Evros, Mr. Gerapetritis emphasizes that unfortunately, Turkey’s recent slippage widens the distance, not only against Greece but also against Europe and the West as a whole.
