“PASOK is back, the Democratic Party is back”, was the message sent by the new president of KINAL, Nikos Androulakis during his speech to Charilaou Trikoupi.
Nikos Androulakis stressed that with his victory in the KINAL elections, he opens a new page for his party, while he said that there are no winners and losers, as the only winner is PASOK and the Democratic Party.
He thanked those who participated in the election contest and congratulated his fellow candidates for the dignified, as he said fight they gave together. “The large turnout made our party stronger and reminded the Greek people of how deeply rooted it is in Greek society,” he added.
He also called on everyone to defend Fofi Gennimata’s legacy for unity and political autonomy.

I thank the hundreds of thousands of citizens who took part in the election process, expressing their anxieties, their hopes for a better future.
With this great participation, they made the faction stronger and reminded the Greek people how deeply rooted it is in Greek society.
I warmly congratulate my fellow candidates, George Papandreou, Andreas Loverdos, Pavlos Christidis, Haris Kastanidis, Pavlos Geroulanos, for the decent fight we gave together.
I call on all of them to defend Fofi Gennimata’s legacy for unity and political autonomy.
Ladies and gentlemen, the match is over tonight. Today there are no winners and losers. The only winner is PASOK and the Democratic Party.
I want to thank from the bottom of my heart those who did me the great honor of being elected president of the Movement.
I thank my family and those who worked for this struggle and especially the thousands of volunteers, of all generations of the faction, all over Greece who were the soul and the inspiration of this effort.
I am very happy for a reason more important for everyone else, because these weeks I have met thousands of young people, the future of the homeland, to come again and be by our side in this new course.
Ladies and gentlemen, I am fully aware of the responsibility I take on.
I pledge to turn today’s victory of the faction into a victory of the homeland. Because the Greek people deserve more.
