Oikonomou for Tsipras: He will not be saved by moralism and scandal

Response of the government representative to the interview given earlier today by the president of SYRIZA

Political inadequacy from which moralism and scandal will not save him, the government representative attributes Yannis Oikonomou to the president of SYRIZA, Alexis Tsipras, responding to what he he argued in an interviewearlier Wednesday morning.

In particular, Mr. Economou notes:

Mr. Tsipras still politicizes in the same way he did before 2015: with extremely divisive speech and promising easy solutions “with a law and an article”.
It is extremely hypocritical for Mr. Tsipras, with 17,125 auctions in 2018 and a prepared program for 18,241 auctions in 2019, whose legislation left the homes of the weak unprotected and at the same time rewarded systematic defaulters, to speak today about the issue of auctions.
For more than three years now, Mr. Tsipras believed that, under the weight of the huge crises they instigated, Greece would collapse with it and the Government. But as this great failure did not come and the elections are approaching, he decided to return to the strategy of scandal.
The “scandalology” and “ethics” in which he passionately indulges are no solution to the problem of his political inadequacy. They are not life-saving, as he hopes. But it’s all he knows how to do.
