The referral of the MP’s case Andrea Patsis to the Prosecutor of Appeals of Athens, and to the Financial Crimes Prosecutor, the Parliament’s Committee on Non-Profits decided on Thursday.

The Asset Declaration Audit Committee held an extraordinary meeting today on 03/11/2022 with the purpose of auditing the Asset Declarations of Member of Parliament Andreas Patsis, and decided:
- the referral of the case to the Athens Appeals Prosecutor, for the findings so far
- sending the Financial Crimes Prosecutor cases for his own actions
- the lifting of the auditee’s banking, tax and stock market secrecy, in order to thoroughly investigate his activity in general, in accordance with the publications as well as the possible conclusion of contracts with the Greek State, in violation of article 57 of the Constitution and the sending of the relevant of findings to the competent bodies, upon completion of the audit, after removal
- the sending to the General Commissioner of the State of the Court of Audit, the data of the audit, for imputation of the return of sums to the public, if, after the removal, unjustified enrichment of the auditee is found
