SYRIZA is once again entering dangerous paths for our democracy. Without any evidence at all, based only on lies and unsubstantiated rumours, he reaches absolute political impoverishment.
The smooth functioning of our Republic and the integrity of electoral procedures is an achievement of the Post-colonial era, which we all, politicians and citizens, must protect as the apple of our eye. No one, from 1974 until today, has thought to dispute it. Mr. Tsipras imitates extreme politicians in the US and Brazil, who do not respect the popular verdict and do not hesitate to seriously damage the institutions of their countries.
He is desperately looking for excuses for his impending defeat, going so far as to sacrifice normality and legitimacy to mount a line of personal defense. But his political weakness is due to his political inadequacy, to the poverty of proposals for the existing and major issues that concern the country and to the “Trambism a la Greca” with which he politicizes.
