The move was announced in his statements by the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the ambassador in Ankara, Christodoulos Lazaris, also delivered a written communication – via verbal communication – to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the denial of entry to Apostolos Tzitzikostas in Smyrna, last Saturday.

The move was announced in his statements by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Speaking to parliamentary editors, Mr Nikos Dendias had stated that our embassy in Ankara will verbally request an explanation from Turkey for preventing the entry of the Regional Governor of Macedonia into the country.

Meanwhile, convinced that his seven-hour detention in Izmir was not technical, but an artificial error, in the context of the barrage of Turkish provocations, the Regional Governor of Central Macedonia told SKAI Apostolos Tzizikostaswarning that in Turkey the deep state has become too strong, and the country is sliding to the brink, probably of no return.
