The Israeli Defense Minister will pay a visit to Greece on political and security issues on Friday Benny Gantz, as announced by the Israeli embassy in Athens via Twitter. During the visit, Benny Gantz will meet with the Greek Minister of National Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos. The program of the visit also includes laying a wreath in an official ceremony at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Athens.
During his visit, according to the Israeli embassy, the Minister of Defense of Israel will be received with an honor guard at the Ministry of National Defense in Athens and will have a private meeting with the Minister of National Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos and extended with their partners. A joint statement by the two ministers to the media will follow, it added.
The Minister of Defense of Israel, as reported, will be accompanied by officials of the Ministry of Defense of Israel, the ambassador of Israel to Greece Noam Katz and the military attaché in Athens, colonel Tal Wallenberg.
