A person with a disability will accompany Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in his planned activities for tomorrow, 11/18, as part of the established DUODay.

On DUOday an employee and a person with a disability form a “duo” (DUO) and the person actively participates as much as possible in the normal work of employees.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at 11:00 will attend and speak at an event for the end of the fire fighting season, which will be held at the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection.

In addition, at 20:00 he will host a dinner for the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

DUOday originated in Ireland where it became known as ‘Job Shadowday’.

The Belgians adopted it as “DUOday” and thus helped spread the idea. In 2017 the concept arrived in Germany for the first time.

The day was enthusiastically embraced by practitioners and companies alike, with more countries participating each year.
