The Turkish Foreign Minister accused Greece of persistently violating the Lausanne Treaty and the human rights of the “Turkish” minority.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu launched new accusations against Greece today. In a tweet posted after the meeting he had with members of the Muslim minority in Thrace, the Turkish foreign minister accused Greece of persistently violating the Treaty of Lausanne and the human rights of the “Turkish” minority.

Specifically, as reported by the SKAI correspondent from Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis, in his post, Tsavousoglou states:

“The distinguished members of the Consultative Committee of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace were hosted in Ankara. Greece continues to persistently violate the Treaty of Lausanne and the basic human rights of the Turkish minority. Our brothers in Western Thrace have never been and will never be alone.”

He then posted a photo with a long list in which he lists all the alleged “discriminatory practices” applied by Greece against the minority in Western Thrace.
