“I say it unequivocally: we all have to respect the decisions of the justice system, this concerns everyone, the law applies to everyone without a second discussion” emphasized the Minister of Citizen Protection.
The Minister of Citizen Protection, Takis Theodorikakos, sent a message for everyone to respect without exception the decisions of the judiciary, on the occasion of the incidents that have occurred in Roma camps in recent days.
Speaking on the program “Kalimera” with Giorgos Autias, he said that the wounding of 16-year-old Roma by the weapon of the 34-year-old police officer of the DIAS team was a “sad and very serious incident”, which is being dealt with by the Justice and the disciplinary bodies of the Greek Police.
“I say it unequivocally: we all have to respect the decisions of justice, this concerns everyone, the law applies to everyone without a second discussion.
Any acts of revenge are not accepted” he said and added that EL.AS. has been conducting operations in recent days in order to find delinquent people in camps.
“Everyone should respect the decisions of justice” he stressed with emphasis.
On the subject of monitoring Mr. Theodorikakos said that Alexis Tsipras and SYRIZA persist because they have nothing positive to say about the real problems, about the global trials, that we are facing.
Besides, he added, the official opposition has admitted that as a government it was monitoring, Mr. Tsipras was monitoring his minister, Mr. Piciorla, tell us why.
Mr. Theodorikakos added that the difference is that the ND and Kyriakos Mitsotakis said it was a mistake to monitor Nikos Androulakis. “We went and made a positive step forward, banning the possession and use of this software,” he added.
“Why doesn’t everyone support this? Clean talk” he said and even called on SYRIZA to provide answers because “they took from the criminal code that surveillance is illegal. They also owe an answer for this.”
