Stelios Petsas accused Nikos Androulakis and PASOK of hypocrisy in the case of Eva Kailis – KINAL

“We are waiting for the announcements, we will see the aspects and the elements that the Belgian authorities have. Beyond that, there is a big political impact,” the deputy minister of the interior told SKAI and the show “Kalimera” with Giorgos Autias Stelios Petsas on the occasion of her case Eva Kaili.

Asked if he would like to know who was watching the PASOK – KINAL MEP, Mr. Petsas replied: “I don’t want to get into the work of those services that are in charge of national or European security. That’s why they exist, to protect our Republic. We cannot discuss today the disposition, intervention of some states and not have equipped our own services with those tools to do their job. It’s another thing the institutional counterweights that we strengthen”, said Mr. Petsas and continued:

“Also, the hypocrisy of PASOK – KINAL and Mr. Androulakis regarding this whole case is evident. When we have an immediate removal of a member who is allegedly involved in such a matter…then we say why is there a framework from a national intelligence agency doing its job? Don’t you see the contradiction between what Mr. Androulakis denounced for so long and the deletion of Ms. Kaili?”

For productivity bonus in the public sector, Mr. Petsas pointed out “it is not something that should surprise you. We have said from the very beginning that we want to link medium-term performance in the Greek public sector with specific indicators of achieving goals.”

Referring to Erdogan’s provocationthe deputy interior minister noted: “As long as we as Greeks remain united and are one fist, these threats fall on deaf ears.

Indeed, I am glad that not only the government but also the opposition and every Greek understands that we have a triptych that makes us strong: International Law on our side, the Allies on our side and the deterrent force to defend our sovereign rights. And so we will continue.”
