“But Greece is working for something much bigger, for something absolutely necessary for our national survival: for the prevalence in the world community of a narrative of protection of the independence and territorial integrity of all states” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs

“Every revisionism and threat of war must be considered a crime of defiance”, emphasized the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, after completing his participation in the Solidarity Conference for Ukraine, while pointing out that the international community must stand by those “threatened by bigger neighbors who they do not respect international law.”

“Today here in Paris, at the Conference on Ukraine organized by President Macron, I represented the Greek government and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. I positioned myself for what Greece offers but also for the regions of special interest in Greece, such as Odessa, Kherson, the martyred Mariupoli, Zaporizhia. Greece supports Ukraine, as do all its western friends and allies,” said the head of Greek diplomacy specifically.

“But Greece is working for something much bigger, for something absolutely necessary for our national survival: for the prevalence in the world community of a narrative of protection of the independence and territorial integrity of all states. So that every war, every threat of war, every revisionism is considered by the world community a crime of devotion” he added, underlining that “the world community has the obligation to always stand by those who are threatened by bigger neighbors who do not respect international law”.
