In more detail, Enrico Letta stated: “We need a strong and reliable Europe, the research developments we are following show something different, something scandalous and unacceptable. These events seriously damage the European Union and democracy. They are a detriment to us and to our ideals. The competent institutions must react with the necessary rigor, justice must do its duty. This is not our Europe, it is at a maximum distance from our ideals. Our Europe is the one with pure ideals and the courage of David Sassoli.”
