“By the decision of the President of the New Democracy Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the status of a member of the New Democracy of the MEP Maria Spyrakis is suspended, until the investigation of the case for which she is being controlled is completed.
As long as the above suspension decision lasts, Maria Spyraki will not be a candidate for New Democracy MP in the first Thessaloniki district in the next national elections.”

The prosecutor requests the lifting of my immunity, because I have the responsibility of my partner and of the proper execution of the budget assigned to me.”
She added: “In any case, I want to announce that I have informed since yesterday and today Mr. Marinakis has received the relevant letter in which I request the suspension of my party status until the case is clarified. I don’t want ND to get involved in an issue that concerns me.
