Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is in Heimarra and is currently visiting the Greek school Homeros.

The next stops of the Greek Prime Minister’s visit are Livadia and Dervitsani.

On behalf of the Albanian government, the Prime Minister will be welcomed in Dervitsani by his Albanian counterpart, Eddie Ramawhile in Livadia the Minister of Environment and Tourism, Mirela Koumbaro.

The visit of the Greek prime minister to the minority villages of Albania takes place 31 years after the last visit of a Greek prime minister, which was in 1991, when the prime minister’s father also visited Dervicani. Today’s meeting of Kyriakos Mitsotakis with Edi Ramma, on the sidelines of the prime minister’s visit to the villages of the Greek minority, a few hours after the contacts of Nikos Dendias in Tirana, does not exclude the possibility that the issue of training will be raised again at prime ministerial level of the co-promissory note on the referral of the delimitation of maritime zones between Greece and Albania to The Hague, for which significant progress has been made.

After all, Athens’ goal, as Nikos Dendias explained during his statements with his Albanian counterpart, is to send a clear message to the international community that International Law and the International Law of the Sea are the only way to resolve international disputes.
