The iconic leader referred to the trip he had made to Greece, during which he had been enthralled by its cultural heritage. At the same time, however, he asked Alexis Tsipras to be informed about the political situation in Greece, while he declared that he was even willing to visit our country in order to help the battle of SYRIZA-PS in the upcoming elections.
Alexis Tsipras ended up having a very heated discussion with her Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba Josefina Vidal, which recalled his presence as Greek prime minister in Havana for the funeral of the iconic leader of the Cuban revolution, Fidel Castro. He even said to Alexis Tsipras: “We love you very much in Cuba and we remember your speech, how passionately you spoke and your visit has left a lasting impression on us.”
