“You must know, see and understand that your policy of putting pressure on Turkey by involving third parties in the process will not bring results,” said Ibrahim Kalin

After the provocations of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu the baton of inflammatory statements was taken by Erdogan’s representative, Ibrahim Kalin, completely distorting reality!

According to SKAI’s correspondent in Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis, Kalin spoke of a “border violation”, implying that what was agreed upon in the recent meeting in Brussels with Greek officials is not being followed!

“Last month I had a meeting with my Greek counterpart in Brussels, and my German counterpart was at that meeting. We prefer to minimize these tensions and conflicts by proceeding within the framework of the decisions we made there and to resolve the issues and reduce tensions through peace and negotiations. But when there is violation of rights, violation of boundaries or harassmentagainst Turkey, Turkey does not hesitate to respond to them” was his outrageous statement.

“Our president’s message to the Greek side, to the Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis, from the first moment was very clear and categorical. Let’s solve our issues among ourselves. You must know, see and understand that your policy to put pressure on Turkey by involving third parties in the process will not yield results” Kalin added.

Loud answer to the provocative rhetoric of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and other Turkish officials they gave diplomatic sources. “We continue to protect our sovereignty and our sovereign rights. Greece has never attempted, nor does it attempt to impose exemplars. On the contrary, it condemns every form of expansionism and revisionism,” the diplomatic sources pointed out.

The Deputy Minister of Education and international expert Angelos Syrigos commented to SKAI that Ankara’s goal is to lure Greece into an all-out negotiation.
