“We monitor the data every day, the will of the government, as expressed yesterday by the prime minister, is the measures to apply after the holidays. We will examine what measures we will take after the committee’s suggestion in the coming days “, said Mr. Plevris and added:
“There is a close monitoring of the situation and depending on the data we will have, we will determine our decisions, but with the intention to make this period of festive events normal with the current framework.”
At the same time, Mr. Plevris added that “in the next ten days there will be as many tests as those that took place all the time that has passed, so no one should think in whatever field he works, that not only vaccinated people will work inside.”
Also, Mr. Plevris stated that 70% of the planned vaccinations have reached and 66% are the fully vaccinated.
As he said, in the adult population 80% of those who have given the first dose and 75% of those who have completed the vaccination have been covered.
Finally, the Minister of Health called on all citizens to do a “self test” during the holidays so that there is tracking in real time.
